Privacy Policy

We use information to operate and improve the Quality Sound Records app, authenticate and maintain user accounts, provide music and app functionality, understand how QSR releases are being heard, measure plays and engagement, analyze general listener locations, maintain security, diagnose technical problems, and improve the listener experience.

Authorized QSR administrators may access account-associated listening analytics, including usernames, listening activity, and approximate location information, for legitimate analytics, operational, security, and service-improvement purposes.

Quality Sound Records uses third-party service providers to operate portions of the app. Supabase provides backend infrastructure, database services, authentication, and related functionality.

IPGeolocation.io may process network information, including an IP address, to determine approximate geographic information such as city, region, and country for listening analytics. Quality Sound Records does not use this service to obtain precise GPS location.

These service providers may process information in accordance with their applicable privacy policies and terms.

You can permanently delete your Quality Sound Records account from the Account screen in the QSR app.

When you delete your account, your authentication account and account-associated profile information are deleted from our active account systems.

Certain listening events may be retained for aggregate analytics after the direct association with your account is removed. For example, the account identifier may be removed while information such as the track, event type, approximate location, session identifier, and event time may remain for analytics, security, integrity, and operational purposes.

Favorites are currently stored locally on your device. Because this local information is separate from your QSR account, it may remain on your device after account deletion unless the app data is separately cleared or removed.

Quality Sound Records uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information handled through the QSR app. These measures include authenticated access, restricted administrative access, database security controls, and protected server-side services. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The QSR app is not directed to children under 13, and Quality Sound Records does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

You may choose not to create a Quality Sound Records account. Certain account-based features and signed-in listening analytics will not operate without an account.

You may permanently delete your account from the Account screen in the QSR app. You may also contact Quality Sound Records with questions or requests concerning your personal information or privacy.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the QSR app, our services, or applicable requirements change. When changes are made, we will update the effective date displayed on this page. We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
